SADZA FOR THE SOUL
Compiled and edited memoir of Kathy McCarty, who ran Chidamoyo Hospital in rural Zimbabwe for 40 years. By 2016, her HIV/AIDS outreach program had reduced the incidence of HIV-infected infants born at Chidamoyo to zero. Kathy passed away in 2021, but her work carries on at Chidamoyo.
WHEN THE DUST RISES
When the Dust Rises is now available on Amazon. This new anthology features original work by students in the Mount Vernon Migrant Leaders Club. US Poet Laureate Juan Felipe Herrera writes the Foreword. The book is the culmination of a four-year collaboration with Underground Writing.
THE HIDDEN TRUTH: BREAKING THE WALL
The Hidden Truth: Breaking the Wall opened on March 5, 2019 at the Lincoln Theatre in Mount Vernon, Washington. Students wrote and performed monologues and raps about their experiences as immigrants. Jennifer served as playwriting teacher and director.

SURGERY + INNOVATION: A BETTER WAY TO OPERATE
A new exhibit at Pacific Science Center features local researchers who are making surgery safer, easier, and sometimes unnecessary. The show runs in the Studio at PSC’s Wellbody Academy through December 2017.
RACE: ARE WE SO DIFFERENT?
Exhibit at Pacific Science Center. We developed new content on race and racism in King County and racial bias in the criminal justice system. The exhibit has closed, but you can see panels highlighting the local race story at Seattle City Hall.
