A silver knight in shining armor - metallic Iris, cool and warm in its own way. Very little strength or projection but that rather suits a chiffon cobweb-esque scent like this. I sprayed the fragrance on me and the cotton t-shirt I was wearing. Like LovesProvence below, I too had two distinct impressions: Rooty Iris for all of a second, and a strong Prada Candy vibe. Really like this! I am in love. Wow! I like the smell, but I don't know that I want to smell like it. So that does not emerge. Ultra feminine and best for springtime, but really would work in any weather. I can smell the iris no doubt there. this isn't quite what i expected. The fragrance stayed with me all day. Then in the dry down I smell violet leaf, amber and musk. I am into scents with a lot less color on the pyramid. There are nice elements to this perfume, but taken all of the component parts as a whole it doesnt quite work due to the heavy alcohol base scent. On me dominate black currant and tangerine. lovely iris incense and a sweet candied orange note dries down to sharp, acrid gaiac wood on me, which exlipses all the other notes. Fruity florals are not my thing and I doubt I'll reach for this again but it's really nicely done. Opens up with a retro lipstick iris, which later transforms into velvety butteriness with an undertone of sour fruit. The violet leaf does not come through,nor does the pepper.
